Let's Go Hiking!!!!

Well, i am convinced I have TB. Tried to run Sunday and got 12 miles into it and it felt like I was at 14,000 feet going verticle. Could not process oxygen. Sucked. But, I will survive and will learn to run on one lung if need be.

Besides that, does anybody want to go for a backpacking trip in Arkansas? Mike Burke, here is your chance! Warm up for the PCT in '09. I am planning on doing the Ozark Highlands Trail the first or second week of April. It's 165 miles of Ozark splendor. Should be a 6 or 7 day trip with one resuply. I need some trail time. With all the insanity in America, I gotta go bury my head and get my mind right. Southern mountains, creeks, waterfalls and alot of peace and quiet. Pack your pack, let's go! Flight are cheap, let's go!

Sue Johnston is in Arkansas backpacking as we speak and I want to be like her. I hear she is ducking a big storm tonight at a lodge somewhere.

Peace to all.......Billy Frank

Hey man, hope your feeling better, I saw on your previous blog you had some pretty nasty shit. All 3 of my kids had it this year around the same time, but I was lucky enough to somehow escape it. Good luck, let us know when the next time you plan on racing again. I am STOKED, just finished my first 50 miler on Saturday, very excited. Later dude.

There is hikinh in Arkansas? I know so little of this countryside...Burke is busy training with 2 lungs, don't deter him, he has records to break:) Darn on 1 lung, but you can't have TB, you'd need to be in Russia...wait, we met not long ago, and I am Russian! Anyway, feel better, and if it's any soothing for you, I am battling bladder infection and can't run either.

Hope you're feeling better for next week. With your lung and my leg we make one half ass runner. If neither of us feel better by then we can just hang out a lot and hike it in under the cutoffs everyday. See you there brother. Get healthy.

Olga is right. The calendar is full. don't you disappoint all us hardrockers. We need your pretty face and tough attitude and maybe a little early snow melt to get us thru HR.
